Oct 7, 2024

This week, the National Assembly will be focussed on oversight and committee work. No plenaries are scheduled. One committee meeting to highlight is the briefing by the South African Reserve Bank (SARB) on its annual report to the Standing Committee on Finance on Thursday.

The Mid-Term Budgetary Review & Recommendations Reports process starts next week, with portfolio committees considering various BRR Reports. This process culminates in the Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement, which will take place at 14h00 on Wednesday, 30 October 2024.
