Both houses of Parliament have now entered their final constituency period of the current parliamentary term. The National Assembly will formally be dissolved at midnight on Tuesday, 28 May, with the National Council of Provinces remaining competent until such a time as the respective provincial legislatures have convened their first sittings following the elections on 29 May.
