The session will focus on the African Union’s 2025 theme, “Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations,” with delegates from across the continent engaging on legislative priorities and oversight matters affecting regional governance.

  • National Assembly to Debate One Stop Border Post Bill

The National Assembly will on Tuesday consider the Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs’ report on the One Stop Border Post Bill, which proposes a legal framework for shared border posts with neighbouring states, including common control zones where both countries’ laws can be enforced.
