This week in Parliament: Questions to Economics Cluster

Parliamentary Programme:

Parliament has a packed schedule this week before the National Assembly (NA) enters a break. From next week, the NA enters a two-week constituency period, reconvening on Tuesday, 08 October 2024.

A highlight this week will be Wednesday when the Economic Cluster of ministers will answer questions in the NA. Ms. Makhubela (ANC) will ask the Finance Minister about how the financial sector supports inclusive economic growth. Mr. Bateman (DA) will inquire about minimizing the impact of budget cuts on essential services. Mr. Hadebe (IFP) will question the Agriculture Minister on encouraging women’s participation in agriculture, while Ms. Davids (ANC) will ask about accelerating land reform to support small- and medium-scale black farmers and enhance food security.
